The Islamic Dinar Museum is one of the museums in the Makkah region. It is the first museum in Makkah that focuses on Islamic coins. It was founded by Muhammad bin Omar Hussein Natto. The museum consists of four halls: the Coins and Currency Hall, which contains a number of gold, silver, and copper coins, in addition to all the currency issues of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; the Manuscripts and Weapons Hall, which contains a number of manuscripts on Hadith, interpretation, Arabic language, and historical documents; the Historical Antiquities Hall, which contains some tombstones and some pottery; and the Folk Heritage Hall, which contains some household utensils, tools, and chairs that were used in Makkah in the past, as well as some listening devices, radios, telephones, and old clocks.
