Professor Mohammed Bamashab founded the Rouha Museum to serve as a window showcasing the Kingdom's history and rich heritage. The museum houses unique artifacts that reflect the country's cultural and historical identity, with an ambitious vision to raise community awareness of the importance of heritage and its preservation. The event was organized under the supervision of the Thinking and Growth Foundation for Commercial Services and Public Relations, led by Professor Makki Al Salem, who played a pivotal role in its success through media coordination and advocating for enhanced cooperation between cultural and tourism entities. Distinguished speakers included: Dr. Bandar Al-Amir, who emphasized the need to develop cultural tourism as a means of strengthening the Kingdom's global standing; Dr. Mohammed Al-Attas, who stressed the role of tour guides in providing an exceptional visitor experience, highlighting the importance of training and development programs; and Sharif Musad Al-Shanbari and Professor Huwaida bint Mohammed, who affirmed the importance of supporting local museums as a mirror reflecting the Kingdom's authenticity and the richness of its history. The "Distinctive Flavor" initiative contributed by offering heritage gifts that added a touch of Saudi hospitality, enhancing the authentic atmosphere that permeated the event. This visit represented an important step towards promoting national heritage and highlighting the cultural and historical landmarks of Makkah, confirming the Kingdom’s role as a global tourism hub under the slogan “Welcome to the World”.
